We have been asked a lot about Blogs lately. And the more we read and talk about Blogs we realize that there is both a surplus of information (one of the great things about blogs IS the surplus of information), and a serious lack of understanding about blogs and how they can be used to promote, grow, and develop businesses from materials handling to business coaching!.
So many people seem to be intimidated by blogging, and yet blogging is not even really a new technology. A Blog is just a "Web Log" or a log of information. Simply, a blog is just a Website! Blogs can be used as a diary, an online to-do list, a news forum, a "new media" advertisment, a money-making tool, a way to keep in touch with one's extended family, and more.
The most dramatic benefit of Blogs for business is that blogs tend to grow fast. The content is generally informal, easily indexed by the search engines and an opportinity for businesses to talk about their products and services is a forum that is not on their "professional" website. They can begin to build page rank and businesses can link to the business site, building its PR. Yvonne DiVita's "Business Blogging Boot Camp" is a wealth of business blogging information and we recommend that anyone who is interested in learning more about leveraging "Blog Power" check out that site.
Some blogs that may be of interest to you include:

- Business Networking in New York
